  Admissions Procedure

Step 1
Please submit the online Admission Form. You would be required to attach copies of the following documents (for the student) along with the form:

  1.  Passport
  2.  Birth Certificate
  3.  Dependant Pass / PR Form / Re-entry permit
  4.  Immunization Records
  5.  Educational certificates of the previous academic year
  6.  Photograph

In addition to the above, you would be required to attach the following documents (for both parents):

  1. Passport
  2. Employment / Dependant Pass

If you are unable to upload the documents, you may submit hard copies at the time of admission to our Admission Executives. It is advisable that all documents are submitted at the time of completing the online application. Once the online application is submitted, you will receive an acknowledgement with a unique number.

Step 2
One of our Admissions Executives will contact you to schedule an appointment for your ward's Interaction and Aptitude Test. You will be informed about the student's admission offer within two (2) working days of the Aptitude Test. The final decision on the class in which your child will be admitted will depend upon the following:

  1. Combined results of the aptitude test
  2. Age criteria
  3. Educational certificates of the previous class

Step 3

You would be required to pay the Registration Fee and submit documents that may not have been attached online or submitted earlier. Original documents must be produced to verify the authenticity of the copies submitted. If your ward(s) is/are moving from a CBSE school, the Original Transfer Certificate(s) need/s to be submitted within one month of joining GIIS.

Step 4

You would be required to complete and sign two copies of each of the following:

  1. Advisory Note
  2. Student Contract

Once you have signed the same, you can proceed to pay the school fees. The FPS Certificate will be provided, along with receipts for payments made.

Step 5
The Admission Office will submit documents for Student Pass application to the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA). Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs) or Dependent Pass holders will not be required to apply for a Student Pass.

Step 6
The Admissions Team will provide one copy of each of the following documents:

  1. Advisory Note
  2. Student Contract
  3. Admission Confirmation
  4. Uniform shop details
You will also receive information on the commencement dates of the new semester and school transport facilities.

In case your ward(s) is/are expected to commence school at a later date, you have an option of completing provisional admission in advance. Contact our Admissions Team for more information.
